Call for Proposals

The board of Rhode Island Mental Health Counselors (RIMHCA) is committed to the mission of advancing our profession and the professional development of our members.  To support this goal we are soliciting proposals from professionals in our field that will inform and educate our members while enabling them to accumulate Continuing Education (CEUs).  We compensate per CEU hour.

Interested presenters should complete the application for review by the RIMHCA Board.  Those selected will be offered the opportunity to present at a RIMHCA sponsored seminar.  Please fill out the form below and you will be contacted for a follow-up. Thank you!

Call for Proposals

Presenters may apply to present a topic of interest in the field of mental health here

  • The title should describe the presentation as concisely and accurately as possible and should be written to generate interest from your peers
  • Please indicate your audio and visual needs as well as any you will be providing
    Please check off all applicable days + times that you'd prefer to present
  • Briefly state, in a bulleted format, what participants will be able to do after attending your presentation. 2 objectives per hour, at least, is standard.
  • Please provide a description on what attendees can expect to learn during your presentation
  • Please indicate your training/education/and experience with this topic
